The timeless knowledge of the human condition.
Vedanta Foundations
This course is about YOU and your life.
Life seems to be a paradox. The world has advanced to unimaginable levels and yet we humans are more dissatisfied than ever before. People are hyper-connected and yet loneliness is at its peak. Human freedom & choice has never been greater and yet we struggle to find purpose.
Strangely, a philosophy over thousands of years old resolves this paradox. Vedānta, the timeless knowledge of the human condition.
Originating in the Vedas, this knowledge expounds the principles of right living. Its study fortifies your personality to deal with challenges and inevitable change; lead a life of clarity and higher values; attain lasting peace and prosperity.
Further, Vedānta unravels the mystery of life and sets you on course to discover its Ultimate purpose: Self-Realization.
Vedānta Foundations is a 3-part course, each spanning 12 weeks. We delve into the subject through the text Vedānta Treatise, the seminal work of renowned philosopher, Swami Parthasarathy.
For the seekers drawn to the mystery of life. For the curious, drawn to the idea that life has more to offer. Or even for those who want a reliable framework for navigating stress, relationships, and the demands of everyday life.
No background in philosophy or spirituality is required. The course is equally suited to those encountering Vedānta for the first time and those who have studied it but never systematically.
Each session is a live, interactive class. We read the text together, unpack the ideas, and open the floor to questions. There are no passive lectures — you are expected to engage. Between sessions, you are encouraged to revisit the material and reflect on how it applies to your own life.
The course concludes with an assessment — not to test memory, but to consolidate understanding and give you a clear sense of how far you have come.
The honest answer is that the benefit depends entirely on what you bring to it. Consistent study builds a framework — a way of seeing yourself, your relationships, your circumstances and life at large more clearly.
Students often report reduced reactivity, a quieter mind, and a growing ability to act from values rather than impulse. These are not overnight changes. They are the gradual result of genuine inquiry.
